अश्विनचा नवा विक्रम, 36 वर्षांपूर्वीचा विक्रम मोडला!

नागपूर: नागपूर कसोटीत टीम इंडियाने श्रीलंकेवर एक डाव आणि 239 धावांनी दणदणीत विजय मिळवला. या कसोटीत टीम इंडियाचा ऑफ स्पिनर रवीचंद्रन अश्विननं 63 धावांत चार विकेट्स काढून श्रीलंकेचा दुसरा डाव गुंडाळण्यात प्रमुख भूमिका बजावली.

क्रिकेट इतिहासात आर अश्विनने असा विक्रम केला आहे, ज्याचा सर्व भारतीयांना अभिमान आहे. अश्विनने कसोटी विकेट्सचं त्रिशतक साजरं केलंच, शिवाय सर्वात जलद 300 विकेट्स घेणारा गोलंदाज म्हणून त्याची नोंद झाली आहे.

अश्विनने 54 कसोटी सामन्यांमध्येच तीनशे विकेट्स घेऊन डेनिस लिलीचा 56 कसोटी सामन्यांचा विक्रम मोडीत काढला. ऑस्ट्रेलियाचे महान गोलंदाज लिली यांनी 1981 मध्ये 56 कसोटी सामन्यात 300 विकेट्स घेतल्या होत्या. त्यानंतर 36 वर्षांनी अश्विनने हा विक्रम मोडला आहे. इतकंच नाही तर अश्विनने हा विक्रम करताना 300 विकेट्स घेणाऱ्या भल्याभल्यांना मागे टाकलं आहे. यामध्ये श्रीलंकेचा मुथैय्या मुरलीधरन (58 कसोटी), रिचर्ड हेडली, माल्कम मार्शल आणि डेल स्टेन (61 कसोटी) यांचा समावेश आहे.
