मुंबई : बॉक्स ऑफिसवर आज मराठी चित्रपटांची गर्दी होत आहे. कारण आज एक दोन नव्हे तर तब्बल 7 मराठी चित्रपट प्रदर्शित होत आहेत.

यामध्ये सुवर्णकमळ विजेता ‘कासव’, शिवाजी लोटन पाटील दिग्दर्शित ‘हलाल’, आणि नागराज मंजुळेंची भूमिका असलेला ‘द सायलेंन्स’ या तीन सिनेमांचाही समावेश आहे.

सुवर्णकमळ विजेता ‘कासव’ चित्रपट आज बॉक्स ऑफिसवर प्रदर्शित होत आहे. सुनिल सुकथनकर आणि सुमित्रा भावे दिग्दर्शित कासव चित्रपट 64 व्या राष्ट्रीय चित्रपट पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात सर्वोत्कष्ट मराठी चित्रपट ठरला होता.

एकीकडे बॉलिवूडमध्ये एकाच दिवशी सिनेमे रिलीज करणं प्रकर्षाने टाळलं जातं. त्यासाठी कट्टर शत्रूशीही संवाद साधला जातो. मात्र मराठी सिनेमांच्या बाबतीत असं होताना दिसत नाही. एकाचवेळी सात सिनेमे रिलीज झाल्याने नफ्याचं प्रमाण निश्चितच विभागलं जाणार.

दुसरीकडे हे सिनेमे एकाच वेळी प्रदर्शित करण्याची वेळ का आली, याबाबतीतही वेगवेगळी कारणं दिली जात आहेत.

द सायलेन्स

गजेंद्र अहिरे दिग्दर्शित आणि सत्य कथेवर आधारित असणारा ‘द साय़लेंन्स’ या चित्रपटात नागराज मुख्य भूमिकेत दिसणार आहे. सिनेमाची पटकथा अनिता सिधवानीने लिहिली असून मुंबई, पुण्यासोबतच जर्मनी, अमेरिकेसारखे देश आणि 35 हुन अधिक नामांकित चित्रपट महोत्सवांमध्ये या चित्रपटाने हजेरी लावली आहे. महाराष्ट्र राज्याच्या 2 राज्य पुरस्कारांसोबतच एकूण 15 पुरस्कारांवर सायलेंन्सने आपल्या नावाची मोहोर उमटवली आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवांमधून गौरविला गेलेला ‘हलाल’ हा चित्रपटही सिने रसिकांच्या भेटीला येतो आहे. राजन खान लिखित आणि शिवाजी लोटन पाटील दिग्दर्शित हा सिनेमा मुस्लीम धर्मातील विवाह संस्थेवर भाष्य करतो.
